People keep asking me what the name HRSH means and how it is actually pronounced. This can be explained quickly, and for anyone who is interested, I would like to do so here.

HRSH is derived from my surname Hörsch. The sequence of letters is a minimalist abbreviation that also makes a clear statement: HRSH is pronounced as “harsh”.

The name is therefore an allusion to the rough conditions that we usually encounter in gravel racing. Conditions that challenge us, but that we accept and even celebrate. And that is also the idea behind our slogan:

Every ride should be an HRSH ride.
